You’ve spoken and we listened! The Beta version of our Attendance Module has been upgraded with lots of new enhancements and fixes! If you have never seen or used the Attendance Module before, which is designed to allow attendance to be taken over mobile devices such as smart phones or tablets, please see our announcement on the Attendance Module Beta.

First, the enhancements…

• You can now view the instructors under the class name.
• Support for additional mobile devices have been added.
• Special Enhancements for iPhone/iPad users..
• You can now simply and easily add the iClassPro Attendance Module to your Home screen!
• Customized icons make finding the Attendance Module faster and easier! More new icons coming soon!

• The empty grey screen issue has been resolved. 
• Some of the timezone issues have been fixed.
• A few saving corrections have been made.
• The Attendance Module will now always save changes.
• Changes made in the Attendance Module now show correctly.

The black out feature prevents parents from registering for class in the parent portal when you are closed. However, it does not prevent the staff from booking on those days on the staff-side of iClassPro. Feel free to request this feature in our feature requests forum: http://support.iclasspro.com/forums/276899-feature-requests.

We have started off the new year with many more enhancements listed below. Stay tuned to announcements and Facebook (www.facebook.com/iclasspro) for updates on more great additions to iClassPro coming soon! And, it’s all thanks to our wonderful customers. IMPORTANT NOTE: Some updates may require you to clear your browser’s recent history. This can be done from the tools menu in most browsers or by pressing CTRL+SHFT+DEL in the browser. Be sure to clear the ‘cache’ and ‘cookies.’

New Stuff:

• Mailchimp integration now allows you to disable the requirement for recipients to opt-in. You must enable the “disable opt-in” setting in Settings>Setup>General Settings>Mailchimp Integration.
• All page loads now use AJAX which will considerably improve the speed of page loads. This also allows you to change pages while having windows open. For example, you can be viewing family details and switch to the classes page and the family details window will remain open.
• Added extra security measures to the iClassPro backup files.
• Added default location setting to the parent portal settings.
• Added age column to the camp enrollment blocks report.
• Added additional output options for for the Student List Report.
• Added date range filter to the Roll Not Taken report.

Fixed Stuff:

• Camp user-defined questions now show correctly in the parent portal when a yes or no response is required.
• Fixed an issue that sometimes prevented a parent portal user from editing a student.
• Added check to prevent invalid date ranges when creating a camp.
• Fixed a typo in the permission settings.
• Fixed issue where a parent portal user sometimes was allowed to change the enrollment type from WAIT to ACTIVE when the class was full.
• Fixed the active filter on the “how did you hear” report.
• Fixed issue where classes did not show in the parent portal if there was an invalid session selected in the settings.
• Fixed issue where the customer class list report sometimes displayed the incorrect number of openings.
• Fixed discounting for future enrollments. Future enrollments are now discounted based on how many classes or students there are in a family as of the start date of the future enrollment.
• Sometimes editing a family or student template in the Safari or Chrome browser created an error. This has been fixed.

can the blackout date feature be used for scheduling monthly sessions.  We dont calculate per class we sell a session for one price which covers 4 weeks.  Can the blackout date feature be used so my staff at the front desk doesnt accidentally schedule a class when we are closed?
